Golden Triangle Enterprise Center  
   
The Golden Triangle Enterprise Center is a high technology incubator program located in the Mississippi Research and Technology Park in Starkville, Mississippi. The GTEC incubator was established in September 1996 to assist new high technology companies in overcoming the hardships of starting a new business. As a model for high technology incubators in the state of Mississippi, GTEC attracts entrepreneurs with its proximity to Mississippi State University and its small town atmosphere.

Currently the Golden Triangle Enterprise Center is home to software development, geographical information system, web page design and service, graphic design, and design simulation companies.

Mission of GTEC: The mission of the GTEC is to provide an educational environment to stimulate the establishment and growth of science and technology based start-up and spin-off companies, and other service and industrial related companies; to expand Mississippi's exsisting industry base ; and to attract high technology industry to the region in order to create jobs and enhance economic development within the state and region. GTEC seeks to foster entrepreneurial activities by providing low-overhead facilities, educational opportunities, and a comprehensive suite of technological business services to new and emerging companies through a network of regional incubators located in but not limited to Attala, Clay, Lowndes, Oktibbeha and Winston counties with the hub incubator located in Starkville, MS.
